Insurance
Our office accepts most insurance plans that cover acupuncture and has a billing department to process all claims. Here is a list of popular insurance companies that we are able to bill for office visits:
- Aetna
- Cigna
- United HealthCare
- Blue Cross
- Blue Shield
- HealthNet
- PacifiCare
- Guardian
- Great West
- Harrington Health
- Humana
- UMR
- Personal Injury Claims (car accidents)
- Worker’s Compensation Claims (injury on the job)
There are many more companies, but those listed above are the most common.
Please note that we are an out-of-network provider and thus are not contracted with HMO plans.
If you have insurance, please contact our insurance biller, Sarah Leydon with AAA Medical Billing: (530) 865-8727. Sarah or one of her staff will gladly verify your acupuncture coverage including eligibility and benefits. Their office will promptly let you know if your insurance policy will cover the cost of your acupuncture treatments. When you call, be prepared to give your full name, date of birth, and all of the information on
your insurance card.
Also, you will be responsible for any portion of your bill that is not reimbursed by your insurance.

Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We accept cash or personal checks.
